While you walk on the wonderful, white, sandy beach and swim in the turquoise water, you will be surrounded by marine iguanas, penguins, sea lions, marine birds and Darwin finches. The hotel is decorated with paintings of Galapagos scenery by the hotel owner, who is a well-known painter and uses the hotel as a gallery. Hotel Sol Isabela is located in Malecon de Capitanía in Puerto Villamil, on the Isabela Island. The hotel is in front of the sea and within walking distance from downtown.
Para llegar al Hotel Casa Sol deberá tomar un vuelo desde Quito o Guayaquil para o al aeropuerto de Baltra o al de San Cristobal desde donde podrá conectar con un corto vuelo en una avioneta que va a la Isla Isabela. Una vez llegado al aeropuerto de Isabela encontrará taxi camionetas que lo llevaran al Hotel Sol Isabela. También puede tomar una lancha rapida que es una opción mas barata que sale tanto de Puerto Ayora como de Puerto Baquerizo Moreno en la tarde y curyo recorrido es de aproximandamente 2 horas hasta llegar a Puerto Villamil. Desde el Muelle de El Embarcadero que se encuentra en el lado este de la isla tomará solo alrededor de 10 minutos caminando hacia el oeste por el camino llamado Via hacia El Embarcadero hasta llegar llegar al Hotel Sol Isabela o puede tambien tomar una camioneta taxi que le dejará rapidamente en el hotel.
To reach Hotel Casa Sol, you will fly from Quito or Guayaquil Airport to either Baltra Airport or San Cristobal Airport in the Galapagos Islands. From either of these airports, you can get a connection in a small aircraft to Isabela Island. This is a short flight. Upon arrival to the Isabela airport, you can get a taxi track that will take you to the Hotel Sol Isabela.
Guests can also arrive by speedboat, which is a cheaper option. Speedboats leave from Puerto Ayora or San Cristobal in the afternoon and take approximately 2 hours to reach Isabela Island. From the Muelle de El Embarcadero which is located on the eastern part of the island, you can walk west for approximately 10 minutes along the Via hacia el Embarcadero to reach Hotel Sol Isabela. You can also get a taxi that will leave you at the hotel; a taxi ride should cost about USD $1.
