The hotel is strategically located within a short walk from Puerto Ayora and a picturesque windmill. The charming street the hotel is located on is only a short walk away from shopping areas and dining options.

When you arrive you will be greeted by the welcoming staff. Hostel owner Josy Cardoso has been known to offer her vast knowledge of the surrounding area, as well as telling you about the history of the hotel. The Galapagos Suites are part of the sustainable tourism efforts on the islands, something which is easy to notice as soon as you walk in. This hotel offers spacious rooms with individual attention given to each guest.

After retirement, Joselin Rhor and her daughter Josy Cardoso opened the doors of Galapagos Suites. Josy Cardoso has educational experience in the field of tourism, with a bachelors degree in Tourism and experience aboard ships. Prior to graduating Josy Cardoso wrote a thesis with the idea to open up a hotel in the Galapagos. From this black and white business plan document surged the idea for the enchanting Galapagos Suites.

As soon as you walk through the doors, the first thing you will notice is the breathtaking view of a large garden. The landscaping consist of endemic species such as flowers and cactus. Once you go past the entrance, you will be greeted by the reception staff. Galapagos Suites is a white three stories hotel surrounded by the natural beauty of the garden and offers senic views of the surroundings from the balconies.
